Meet and greet by our representative upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB). Board your private vehicle and embark on a scenic 3.5-hour uphill drive ascending to 6,700 ft through rolling tea estates. Check-in to your hotel. Evening free to stroll along the famous Mall Road (Chowrasta) and enjoy the cool mountain breeze.
Wake up at 3:45 AM for an exhilarating drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 ft) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the world’s 3rd highest peak, Mount Kanchenjunga. On the return drive, stop by the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop war memorial. After breakfast at hotel, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, and a panoramic tea estate view. Overnight in Darjeeling.
After a wholesome breakfast, take a picturesque 2.5-hour drive via Indo-Nepal border towards Mirik. Mirik is known for the serene Sumendu Lake surrounded by cryptomeria pine trees and cardamom groves. Enjoy horse riding or paddle boating on the lake. On the return journey, halt at Pashupati Nagar market for shopping and tea tasting. Return to Darjeeling for overnight stay.
Post breakfast, head towards the famous Chunnu Summer Falls & Rock Garden, descending through scenic terraced gardens. Return to town by afternoon. Spend your evening leisurely sipping authentic Darjeeling tea at historic cafes, browsing handicrafts, and soaking in the tranquil sunset views.
Enjoy your final morning breakfast looking out onto the Himalayan valley. Check out from the hotel and drive downhill towards NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport with cherished memories of the hills of North Bengal.
